Rhodes, Greece
We arrived dockside at the walled city of Rhodes, Greece early in the morning. Rhodes is situated in the north-east tip of the island also known as Rhodes. It borders the Aegean Sea to the north, the east and the west.
Rhodes was somewhat of an anti-climax. But to be fair, it would have been hard not to be after visiting so many remarkable historic sites in Greece and Turkey the past few days. It was actually kind of nice to have a laid back day after so many intense, early morning starts. We had a leisurely breakfast aboard ship, then headed out for a walk through the city.
