Jeeping Ironwood National Monument

12/16/2014 – The SaddleBrooke Off-Road Bunch (SOBs) made a run about an hour northwest of Tucson to the Ironwood National Monument in the Sawtooth Mountains. I had never even heard of this place before, but it was one of the most beautiful Jeep runs I have taken in Arizona. There was mud, a few steep climbs and an especially steep decent, and a few maneuvers to avoid obstacles and washouts, but it was primarily an easy run.

It was a terrific good time and jaw-dropping scenery. Pictures can never do a place like this justice, but here’s my best effort.
