Took this hike with Jeff on January 8, 2013. The tail is named after rock formations that supposedly look like Mary and the Baby Jesus. I must have missed it. What I did not miss is the beautiful scenery, magnificent stands of saguaro, impressive rock formations, and soaring hawks on the hunt.
This trail heads into the Santa Catalina mountains very near my house. Am I lucky or what?
