San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park
A year ago, we went to the San Diego Zoo. This year we went with friends to Safari Park.
The highlight was a behind the scenes tour in a safari truck, where we got up close and personal with giraffes and rhinos. We also got to see a cheetah 100-yard-dash at 70 mph. The number is impressive enough, but what really boggles the mind is when you’re driving down the highway and realize that a cheetah could pass you.
